Districts

Budapest is a cluster of 23 districts. Each district is a unique universe, with its own built heritage, traditions, cultural life and creative groups, contributing to and actively shaping the capital's distinctive character. This spring, the urban festivals will provide ever-expanding access to discover them, focusing on the 3rd, 15th and 22nd districts.

Our culture is based on the interaction of artists giving form to their feelings and thoughts, so that they live on in the recipient. Artworks and productions across the area can make culture part of everyday life. Festival programmes in the 2nd District are the blocks of this process.
