Do you wonder in what state we have inherited our planet and what we can do to protect it? This is perhaps our most important common cause today, which is why we are exploring it in a variety of genres on the #ecomind journey.

Have you ever wondered to whom we owe the clean streets, the flowers in our gardens, the warmth in our rooms and the clear chimney? BKM Budapest Public Utilities works every day to make sure all this is taken care of. On 7 May, they are holding an open day called This is how we work where you can tour the power plant, find out how waste is recycled and see the sustainable parks of the future in Budapest.

From 13 to 15 May, our slogan is: back to nature and to each other! The Ecofeminist Festival promises vegan cookouts, weed walks, plot safaris, plant petting, as well as lectures and talks about gender in the Liquor Factory Garden in the VIII district.

On the penultimate day of the Spring Festival, 14 May, the secret life of trees will be revealed in the Buda Arboretum, followed by a light-hearted concert and film screening at sunset to immerse you in the intimate atmosphere of the arboretum. For the second time this year, Arbor Fest ’22 invites nature lovers to a walk, a concert and a film under the trees.
